Brianna Freda-Reed (Owner, Aerial Silks, Mobility)
Flying With Freda, LLC is owned and operated by Brianna Freda-Reed. She first was introduced in college during an interim 1 week class offered in January 2017. That fall she was featured as a “silk bird” in a reimagined version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the University of Northern Colorado. She received her level 1 teaching certification through Dragonfly Aerial Company, in the Fall of 2019, and has since then received two additional higher level certifications. She continued to train and coach classes at the Dragonfly Aerial Company studio in Colorado Springs up until 2023 when she gave birth to her son. Flying With Freda was created in 2021 and Brianna now teaches primarily in Cañon City!
Brianna is a mother; and has certifications in the following specialties: Birth Doula, HypnoBirthing Educator, Aerial Silks Instructor, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Performer.
She was raised in Cañon City, CO where she developed a love of arts and theatre. In the spring of 2019 she graduated with a Bachelors in Musical Theatre and a minor in dance from The University of Northern Colorado.
In 2023, she gave birth to her son and that sparked her interest in birth work and helping women and families learn more about the transformative experience birth is. It also created her journey in rehabilitating her own body and the importance of every day function and mobility. Because of this, she introduced her Mama Mobility and Fit & Flex classes which focus on stability, mobility and rehabilitation in the body!
She completed her Pregnancy/Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification in April of 2025 and am finishing her Pelvis Pro Certification this year as well!
“I am thrilled to be able to help people regain strength, comfort, balance, and confidence in their bodies.”

Megan Stern (Aerial Silks/Guest Artist)
Megan began life as a particularly uncoordinated child, so growing up she never participated in dance or sports. Instead, her love of science and adventure compelled her to study and travel the globe. Upon completion of a contract working at a scientific research base in McMurdo, Antarctica she returned to Denver looking for a new conquest. It was then, in the summer of 2010, that she encountered a flier for an aerial fabrics class and her life was forever changed. Since that fateful day Megan has trained, performed and taught with several Colorado based aerial groups including Aerial Fabric Acrobatics, Relevé Aerial Dance, In The Wings, and Urban Cirque. She is currently a Professional Company Member with Iluminar Aerial, and the Creative Administrator of Soul Penny Circus. Megan is honored and excited to join the team at Flying with Freda!

Samantha Vigil (Coach in Training)
Samantha is an elementary teacher by day and an aspiring aerialist by night. Samantha has her Bachelors of Arts and is currently teaching STEM and art to kids ranging in ages of 5-12 years. She discovered and fell in love with aerial silks back in 2019, because it was both technical and artistic. She has been consistently learning to work with the beauty of silks for the past 2 years. What began as a hobby has become a passion and hopefully a second career. Samantha is excited to share her love and knowledge of aerial silks to other aspiring aerial artists. She is passionate about offering classes that you will make you sweat, laugh, and build connections.
