Intro to Aerial Yoga Workshop (90 min)
Want to try aerial arts or yoga, but feel like you’re not strong — flexible — coordinated — brave “enough?” The truth is — you are fully capable, just as you are.
In this workshop, you’ll learn & practice
-foundational conditioning methods to prevent injury
(including basic muscular/skeletal anatomy awareness)
-grip techniques & hand care
-yoga pose & sequence — build skills while comparing structure & sensation of ‘on the mat’ vs ‘in the hammock’
-simple inversion poses (and techniques to relieve any anxiety/discomfort that may arise)
-explanation & demonstration of added benefits of aerial yoga vs traditional
-You will also receive personalized guidance and gentle hands-on adjustments (with your consent) to build confidence and self-trust in your practice.

Invigorating Flight & Flow (60 min)
Rise and shine with our energizing morning aerial yoga class at Flying with Freda! This heat-building flow is designed to awaken your body, uplift your mood, and sharpen your mind—all before the day truly begins.
We’ll blend classical ground yoga with unique aerial hammock practices to take you from floor to flying. Expect deeper stretches, improved mobility, and strength-building sequences that leave you feeling grounded, spacious, and alive.
A key focus of this class is developing empowered alignment. Every pose is customizable, meeting you exactly where you are while offering options to elevate your challenge when you’re ready. Our friendly instructors provide variations and adaptations throughout to keep your practice supportive and accessible.

Prerequisites / Required:
Some prior experience with aerial silks and/or yoga or completion of our Intro to Aerial Yoga Workshop.

Evening Wind-Down (60 min)
Settle into your evening with this serene all-levels restorative aerial yoga session designed to relax your body, calm your mind, and soothe your nervous system.
In this gentle practice, we combine traditional restorative yoga postures, breathwork, and meditative techniques with the nurturing, full-body support of the aerial hammock. The soft suspended fabric helps you release tension, ease pressure on joints and muscles, and create space in the spine—all while encouraging mindful breathing and deep relaxation.
Perfect for all fitness levels, this class supports recovery, enhances mobility, and provides a grounding counterbalance to the dynamic aerial silks training offered at Flying with Freda. Whether you’re unwinding after a long day, recovering from injury, or simply seeking a peaceful stretch, this practice offers a supportive, uplifting environment to restore both body and mind.
